Do not rent a car through Orbitz

I took out fully comprehensive insurance on a rental car (in Canada) booked through Orbitz.
The car got damaged by somebody while parked, I've had to pay Alamo over $2000 CAN and Orbitz don't respond to e-mails, my claim or anything

24 hours cancelation policy free refund is actually true although rarely work online. Often we need to call. The rewards of 1% is easy to use too

Better be away just unprofessional scams or minimum they are unprofessional in services they offer just throwing website in internet and you try your luck , i lost 300$

Irresponsible and the worst customer…

Irresponsible and the worst customer service experience of my life. Impossible to speak with a supervisor, they tell you you have to wait 24 hrs to be in touch with them but never call back. They refuse to give a refund. Don’t waste your money nor time. Try other websites.

If it was possible to give no stars- i would do so! Here's what I learned today. If you have $700 credit with Orbitz, you have to pay another $800 to get same exact tickets! Isn't it a brilliant way of loosing a customer??? I think it is! And it didn't matter what date i book, what class or what seat! $1500 was the only price! And there are plenty of tickets online for prices $430 and up!
Way to go Orbitz!
I fly every year, so does my family. We will principally use ANY booking service, but Orbitz or Expedia, because Orbitz is a part if Expedia group! Surprise! I hope you all burn in hell

If I can give Orbit a zero out of five…

If I can give Orbit a zero out of five I would. We book a flight, made it to the airport, and were told that Orbit change the flight back in June. We were never sent an email about this change. Called customer services and told us that they couldn't send us an email because they didn't have access to do so. I ask to speak to a manager and was told he wasn't available because he was on a call. I would never use Orbit again.

Stopped using them after they stole our…

Stopped using them after they stole our money and didn’t want to reimburse us. I made a booking by mistake to a different hotel (same hotel name, different, farther city) after their website sent me to the other hotel. I called them right away and they made it about the hotel needing to reimburse us, not Orbitz and kept saying that the booking was nonrefundable. I usually don’t make any nonrefundable booking and I never wanted to pick that hotel.

Bound by rules despite doing what is right

Orbitz via a computer offered a discount promo code if I downloaded the app and book my vacation package via their phone app. Ironically the app had glitches and would not load properly and I lost the resort they offered. In order to I was on hold for 50 minutes and could not get customer service help. I had to book the resort and flight with car seperately but still Orbitz. I explained the problem to the Supervisor . He offered that if I could get the computer to generate the app offer again, he would give me the 10% off. I did and emailed it to him. He said I should have asked an Orbitz representative for help. I THOUGHT THAT IS WHAT I WAS DOING ON THE PHONE FOR OVER AN HOUR. He said he is bound by rules and will not give me the credit. What is this world is coming, I will never know.

Never again ..

I will choose not to use this site again to purchase airfare. The virtual customer service was a joke. I spent over an hour trying to check in for a flight that I have on the next day with no luck. Even when I sign in you can't even see the fact that I tried to communicate with a virtual assistant three different times. When I did get to a human there English and spelling was a joke.

If 0 stars were an option..

Booked a flight in Jan 2020 for March 30 2020. The world had shut down and orbitz refused to give me a refund saying the airline should handle it. The airlines said it was orbitz responsibility. 2 weeks ago the "voucher" was said to expire Dec 2022 and now it is expired and nobody will help me. Orbitz has given me the run around between hanging up on me, not emailing me back, refusing to fix my voucher and refusing to refund me.

I would have taken the trip if ya know, the world hadn't shut down.

I learned my lesson the hard way I suppose.
